We care deeply about sustainably managing clothes.

When we cannot bring an item back into circulation, plan b is to sustainably recycle the fibers to make new, high-quality fibers.

LET'S BE REAL FOR A SEC.

It's important to be honest about the sustainability of clothing.

The most sustainable product is the one you don't buy. With over 100 billion new clothing items produced every year, we simply don't have enough resources to satisfy everyone's need for newly-made clothes.

Second to that is buying high-quality used items.

Even then, there are very real trade-offs that we need to make. For example, shipping clothes around the country has a carbon footprint. And not everything can be resold or donated -- most especially the low-quality fast fashion items designed to be worn only a few times -- so some items need to go to recycling.
